All the surgical implants Richard uses are tried and proven.

Having undertaken further state-of-art joint reconstruction training, Richard is well-versed in:

  • minimally invasive techniques

  • resurfacing surgery

  • computer-assisted surgery

  • complex reconstructions for extensive bone loss, infection, deformity, tumour reconstruction, etc

  • revision surgery

Priding himself on patient care and outcome, Richard achieves well above the national average for successful outcomes when compared to all the New Zealand Orthopaedic Surgeons on the NZ National Joint Replacement Registry.
